Stephanie McLean with future husband Barry Sheene; the legendary motorcycle racing champion who won 19 Grand Prix races and 2 world titles with Suzuki. A model and Penthouse cover girl, Stephanie met Londoner Barry in 1975 while he was on crutches following a 175mph racing accident. As famous for his sense of humour as his incredible resilience to injury, 'Bazza' rode his first motorcycle at the age of five, and once drilled a hole in the front of his helmet to smoke a cigarette on the grid. He and Stephanie eventually emigrated to Australia, where Barry sadly died of cancer in 2003. He is described as 'a hero both on and off the track' (BBC Sport).
